Meet Your Leads

Courtney Sutherland

CIAYT, E-RYT 500, YACEP

Courtney is a certified Yoga Therapist and has been teaching yoga full-time since 2007. With over 1000 hours of training, 13 years managing popular yoga studios, and more than 10,000 classes taught, she brings a ton of experience to this Teacher Training!

She absolutely loves helping yoga teachers feel confident sharing their unique take on the amazing practice of yoga. She's super passionate about helping teachers build up their knowledge so they can create classes that truly meet their students' needs—body, mind, and spirit—while also letting their individual creativity, joy, and love for yoga shine through.

Jenn Robb

E-RYT 500, Yoga Therapist in Training, YACEP

Jenn Robb is not your average yoga instructor. Since finding yoga in 2017, Jenn has earned her E-RYT500, YACEP, RYS200, and RYS300 credentials. She is an Ayurvedic Nutrition and Mindfulness Coach, she is certified in Trauma Informed and Adaptive Yoga, and she studied Therapeutic Sound Healing under Natalie Brown, a leader in the International Sound Healing Space.

Back in 2004, way before her deep dive into yoga, Jenn kicked off her career as a Professional Organizer, and she's been helping folks get their time, space, and thoughts sorted ever since. The death of Jenn's beloved yogi mama in 2015 was the catalyst for Jenn to add yoga to her toolbox in order to help alleviate grief, PTSD, and trauma symptoms for herself and those around her. She believes in organizing for time and space and yoga for mind, body and spirit!

These days, Jenn is in her final year of yoga therapy school, seeing weekly clients and gaining hands-on experience through clinical rotations. Professionally, she serves Veterans Yoga Project as a Teacher Development Specialist and Learning Facilitator for their Mindful Resilience Programs. She represents Lululemon locally, as Brand Ambassador for the Coralville IRL store, and she continues to organize professionally through her company, Simple Organizing Strategies. Jenn also heads up the Professional Organizers Collective, a fantastic nationwide community that promotes networking, resources, education, and organizer referrals.

Testimonials

"I’ve had the privilege of working alongside courtney for over a decade in the yoga industry, and she continues to inspire me every day. She is one of the most authentic and knowledgeable teachers I’ve ever met, and her integrity is unmatched. What sets her apart is how deeply she cares—she truly wants to help people grow and succeed. I’ve seen her mentor dozens of instructors, guiding them to become confident and respected teachers. If you’re considering a 300-hour training, I can’t think of a more dedicated, kind, and inspiring guide than Courtney. "

-Rebecca Baack, former owner of 34 yoga studios and current owner of thriving fitness studios

"From the beginning I knew I belonged, that I was being introduced to something bigger, something deeper than simply learning names of asanas and instructing others to bend their bodies into the perfect expression... I learned yoga instruction, history, asanas, and breath. However, the biggest flex, the most cherished part of my experience is the gift of being able to believe in myself and being connected with these women who are now constants in my world. Thank you, Jenn. You are truly magical."

--Kimberly Hendricks (RYT200, LMT, Birth Doula), Owner, Be Loved Bodywork and Yoga

"Courtney is an absolutely phenomenal lead for yoga teacher training, a true gem whose passion for anatomy shines through in every session. Her ability to convey complex material with such clarity and depth is truly remarkable, making even the most intricate concepts accessible and engaging. Courtney's extensive knowledge of the curriculum is evident, and she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her students not only understand the material but can embody and teach it effectively. She consistently produces high-quality yoga teachers who are not only knowledgeable and confident but also deeply passionate about their craft – I would genuinely hire any of her graduates in a heartbeat. Her dedication to fostering skilled and insightful instructors is unparalleled."

-Suzanne, owner of Flow Yoga Studio

"Om Home was an incredibly welcoming and community-focused experience. As a plus size woman wanting to make yoga more accessible, I knew I needed a teacher who would encourage and support me from the very beginning - I found that with Jenn. Her passion for the spiritual and physical nuts and bolts of yoga is inspiring and motivating. What could be an overwhelming and regimented curriculum is transformed into an easily integrated way of life under her guidance. The yoga community is brighter because of Jenn’s love and light. I’m so grateful."

-Amanda Lund (RYT200), Owner, Club Curiosa
